The original website was created in FrontPage, then went through a Dreamweaver phase. My client wanted a website could be updated by anyone to avoid having to ask me for every update. The resulting Drupal site makes this possible.
The new site features:
- Custom "Conference" content types that make it easy to edit while keeping the styles consistent
- Online store featuring electronic downloads and "coupon codes" to encourage sales
- Paid premium content available for purchase on the site
- Newsletter subscription module that integrates with the site for simple creation and sending of newsletters
- Online conference event registration and handling of presenters' electronic files
- Various publishing outlets such as a section for Articles and a blog
And since the new site uses Drupal, it's relatively simple to add new features as the client requests them.
