The Monterey Bay Derby Dames first thought they would use WordPress, but after inventorying their needs, I determined they would need more features than a blog-focused system could provide. I worked with even design who designed the site, and I implemented Drupal to enable advanced functionality.
The website features:
- News section that any designated league member can update
- Press area where media appearances are archived
- Team pages with individual skater profiles
- Social media and newsletter signup
- Online forms to assist with recruiting of new league members
- Photo galleries to showcase events
- Various static pages for the About Us, Recruiting and Teams pages
In addition to their Drupal site, I also implemented an Open Atrium (based on Drupal) intranet that allows the Derby Dames to collaborate.
