Our panelists will include representation from academia with focus on localization programs and students who went through localization studies. The discussion will revolve around the role that having an educational background in localization plays in developing a successful localization career.
- Max Troyer – Associate Professor and Program Chair for Translation and Localization Management Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey
- Jan Grodecki, PMP – Sr Solutions Architect at Welocalize; Steering Committee Member at EDUinLoc; Professor of localization engineering and project management courses at the University of Washington
- Alexandra Ragazhinskaya – Localization Project Manager at RWS; Completed the Localization Certificate program at University of Washington as well as a Translation and Interpretation Certificate program at Bellevue College
- Grace Adams (Interviewer) – Solution Architect at Lionbridge; Completed the Translation and Localization Management Masters degree at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey
