I was so honored to be a GALA Champion! I sat down with Isabella Massardo and she let me share how I got my start in localization, future-proof skills for the next generation of localizers, where GALA fits in, especially in terms of contributing to closing the talent gap. Content creators and communicators can help by proactively writing inclusively and avoiding past pitfalls or habits that may unintentionally lead to marginalization, offense, misrepresentation, or the perpetuation of stereotypes.
